We are proud to share an exciting update regarding the Virginia Association of Community Managers (VACM).

VACM is the only organization in Virginia that represents community association management companies before state lawmakers. Established on May 26, 2005 by nine major management companies, the organization continues to provide education, resources, and advocacy that strengthen the entire industry.

Cardinal, was one of the nine founding firms, was represented on VACM by both Don Mazzei and Thomas Mazzei, with Don serving as the President of VACM for the past several years.  At the recent Annual Meeting of the organization, Don announced his retirement.  The membership thanked him for his service.  As is typical at annual meetings of organizations, an election was held for a new slate of Officers.  We are pleased to share that our own Thomas Mazzei, President of Cardinal Management Group, LLC a RealManage company, was nominated and unanimously elected the new President of VACM.

We thank Don for his leadership and commitment to advancing the profession, and we congratulate Thomas as he begins his term. Cardinal, is honored to continue its legacy of leadership within VACM.
